Wanda Williams was elected to Suisun City Council in 2018 and in 2020 she was appointed to Vice Mayor for a 1 year & 6 months term. She currently serves on several committees and regional boards representing Suisun City. She graduated from University of California Davis in the spring of 2021 majoring in Political Science with a minor in African American Studies. She volunteers her time and expertise at Solano Land Trust on a specialized "Access for All" advisory committee to ensure everyone has equal access to open spaces in Solano County. She is the founder of the Suisun City Children’s Art Fair and Adopt-A-Neighborhood and she is currently working on several projects to improve the quality of life for all in Suisun City and Solano County. Wanda has been a member of Revival Center located in the city of Vallejo, CA. She serves her church as an Elder and works alongside her husband Pastor Anthony Williams as a leader and administrator for the Juvenile Hall Ministry Team. In this capacity she encourages and help local incarcerated youth return to their communities as productive citizens, advocates for prison reform and community leaders. Wanda loves helping her community and those within her sphere of influence to strive for greatness. She has been married to her husband for 28 years and is the mother of three beautiful children Amber, Michael and David (both sons are deceased). She is a advocate for housing, racial and social justice. She enjoys dance, art, theater, and different genres of music.
